What we're building
roomsHatch is a global marketplace for rooms, stays, experiences, and the small services that make them work. Book a bed for the night. Rent a flat for the season. Join a chef in her kitchen. Hire someone to pick you up at the airport.
It's a simple business. It has been done before. We're not claiming to have invented travel.
What we're doing is rebuilding it on different defaults.
The defaults we're rejecting
The price at the top is not the price at the bottom. On the platforms we grew up using, a $120 night becomes a $187 night between the search result and the checkout page. Cleaning fees, service fees, resort fees, platform fees — a tax of small print.
On roomsHatch, the price you see is the price you pay.
Listings shouldn't read like ad copy. They should read like the person who lives there wrote them, because that's who should be writing them. Short. Real. Photographed in daylight.
Hosts aren't inventory. They're the people who put on the coffee, leave the extra towel, and write the neighborhood guide by hand. We build the tools. They do the work. We take less, so they keep more.
Guests aren't leads. No dark patterns. No urgency banners. No "1 room left!" when there are twelve. You should be able to leave the site without feeling sold to.

We have the reach of a company much bigger than we look, and the agility of a company exactly our size. We like it that way.
Our story
roomsHatch began with a familiar frustration — hours of searching, listings that didn't match their photos, and no reliable way to tell a trustworthy host from a hopeful one. We thought the better version of that experience should already exist. When we went looking and couldn't find it, we decided to build it instead.
We're early. We're listening. And we know what we signed up for.
What you can expect from us
We will tell you what things cost before you pay for them.
We will not pretend to be a person when a bot will do, or a bot when a person is needed.
We will pay hosts on time.
We will answer guests when they write.
We will not inflate, manipulate, or dress up the numbers on the homepage.
We will keep the platform clean, clear, and free of the things that made the other ones hard to love.
That's the contract. If we break it, tell us. We read everything that comes in.
